QITLabs at Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona

Like every year, we were thrilled to learn more about the latest releases of the world’s biggest manufacturers.
You can tell from this pic the kind of technologies the RIM is going for.
We attended the Blackberry Development Platform Road talk on the Blackberry Developer Day. The aim of this session is to show us which tools we can count on to develop new applications. It will be based on new development platforms apart from Java: QNX, Adobe Air, Webforms. The key is to use a different technology depending on the kind of application you want to develop.

It’s for all to see that all these new platforms are determined by the release of the new Black berry tablet: Playbook.
These super apps have been introduced: Webworks-based BBM for Social Media, built-in NFC for the new OS 6.1, and the new BB Travel application.
Later on, we visited the Blackberry stand where we could see the playbook put into action. Besides, we tried out other devices like Torch. See some pics of us accessing our site from it J.
Aquí os dejo unas fotos de la Torch accediendo a nuestra web :)

After that we stopped by the new Blackberry tablet display stand, where we put its power to the test.
